You always visualize a table surrounded by chairs, not standing alone, as shown so often in design brochures. I wanted to bring create the impression of floating into the form by using a thick tabletop, 60 mm, in combination with slender wire legs. When surrounded by chairs with similar legs, this increases the visual impact, so that the table top seems to hover in the air.
