Made of Carrara Marble the tables are all the same yet different, like members of the same family with different personalities. Each table's corner has its own radius, its own interlocking system, making each one unique. To enhance the beauty of tactility the edges are polished while the entire piece has a matt finish. Loving solid stone, one of the big challenges with this project was producing the tables from marble and at the same time making the tables easely tranportable in a flatpack. Riviera tables is a blend of Nostalgia and fonctionnality.

Designed for the new company Dadadum, the tables consist of only three parts. They are easy to assemble and without screws. The design of the Riviera set pays tribute to the natural stone tables found in «grottos» in the Ticino Valley, in the southern Switzerland. «The tables at these Ticino valley inns are often made up of a heavy top sitting on top of two blocks of stone for the community to dine al fresco - The Riviera set combines an old tradition with a contemporary and minimalistic design.», says CEO and founder Demian Conrad, who himself is a native of Ticino. 

The idea behind the Riviera Tables is to bring the outdoors inside the home and use the tables individually or as a nest.
