This is the smallest dimension that I have designed in. But the difficult thing was the question of the function of jewellery. Why does jewellery exist? Only to adorn? To swank? As a symbol of something? For me these were new ideas. Endless tracks of lines, a twisted eight, the stone held in new and different ways were the design ideas that came up for this collection. What is the function of jewellery aside from enhancement? Can I also look at a stone differently? How many links make a chain? The collection consists of earrings, rings, necklaces and arm bands, with or without gemstones.
