Wallpaper*, the international style and design bible, has launched its annual Handmade issue and exclusively presents all the handcrafted pieces commissioned for the magazine’s recent Milan exhibition. Acting as client, patron and creative director, Wallpaper* commissioned some of the world’s most respected designers, artists, craftsmen, brands and manufacturers to create objects, installations, furniture, fashion and food for its third annual Handmade exhibition. Showcased at the Brioni Palazzo in Milan during Salone del Mobile in April, highlights included a monumental Agape bathroom by designer Paul Kelley, crocheted footstools by David Collins and floral wallpaper by Gucci and Cole & Son.

Further collaborations saw Louis Vuitton team up with Sam Hecht and Kim Colin/Industrial Facility to create the perfect tent, and Paul Cocksedge transform blocks of marble from Greek company Smili into statuesque bookmarks. Architect David Kohn design an outdoor screening pavilion for a film by Dutch artists Lernert & Sander showing the ‘handy’ works of Brioni’s master tailors
