Erice 2013
Chair
Alias, Italy
The Erice chair revisits the essential style and clean lines of Segesta and Selinunte, thereby creating a new shape but with a personality of its own. The distintive trait is the hole in its back, aligned towards the exterior line but creating suspense nonetheless, thereby also ensuring invisible elasticity and comfort. A wide choice of different base structures, i.e. four legs, sledge, wheels, cross-shaped, wooden as well as a trestle-like version with four conified legs, make each Erice chair personal and distinctive. The last layer is a soft version with cushions in shaped polyurethane, in leather or fabric.
