In architecture there is often talk of «Boden Wand & Decke». The space is defined by these elements, it is the surfaces that limit volumes and surround us. The floor is given a special role by touching it with our feet and walking on it - if only because we consciously or unconsciously look at it to find our way. Similarly, on architectural plans the size of a room is primarily determined by the dimensions of the floor. Seen in this light, the floor is the actual head of the room in general. But just as with humans, the head would be nothing without its rum: Floor and Walls.
