Why is parquet just on the floor? And why does a room have angular corners? The idea of my concept is to go with parquet a different way, in order to obtain new possibilities and spatial experiences, which makes the floor merge with walls and ceiling. My wish is the creation of spaces that astonish, play with the viewing habits and open up new possibilities of living space. The floor, especially the parquet, should play the essential role. It is not primarily about a practical use, but about an extension of the aesthetics of the parquet into the third dimension. It is about the experience of «wood». Organic forms are very close to this natural material and so it is obvious to give a wooden floor a corresponding organic form.
