«Be the man that you want to be» – this is the motto of the current Zalando campaign, which encourages men to question outdated gender stereotypes, express themselves through their personal style and live their own interpretation of masculinity. Against this backdrop, we travelled through Zurich, where extraordinary men and the city's dynamic culture come together. The photo series shows people who challenge conventional standards with their unique style and embody modern manhood. Creative choices and combinations of clothing and accessories reflect a way of life and individuality.

His path to prominence began with a transformative sojourn to Milan, where he was captivated by the enchanting world of design. It was there that he resolved to carve his niche in this creative realm, a decision that ultimately led to the establishment of his eponymous studio, Alfredo Häberli Design Development, in 1991. Since then, Häberli has left an indelible mark on the design landscape, crafting a myriad of innovative products, orchestrating captivating interior compositions, and curating thought-provoking exhibitions.

Born in Buenos Aires and based in Zurich since the 1980s, Alfredo Häberli is a leading figure in contemporary design. From furniture to lighting, plates to carpets, interior architecture to cars, this designer has worked in every field. He has even written a book, recently published by Scheidegger & Spiess. As its title suggests, Verbal Doodling. 30 years, Questions, Answers is an evocation of his profession and the places that have influenced his vision of design. In particular, he talks about Milan and its trade fair.

The star designer is breaking new ground with his ArtCar. The top Swiss designer reveals what all this has to do with the weight of lightness. Whether watch, chair or car. Alfredo Häberli's credo is clear: to achieve as much as possible with as little as possible, be it through the chosen theme or through the material used, the lines drawn or the surfaces placed. This motto was also the focus when he artistically designed the 356SC for the Porsche Centre Zurich. In doing so, he added an ArtCar to his repertoire and at the same time realised one of his favourite projects. He shares his vision of a driving work of art with us.
